Union Arenadle

One card a day out of —, drawn from all — franchises at once. You are naming a specific printing — not a character: 24 different cards are called Kirito and they do not share a stat line.

    Classic

Name any card. Ten attributes are graded against the day's answer:

Exact match Partly right — some values overlap Nothing in common ↑The answer's number is higher (↓ = lower)

Series is the first column because it is the whole point. Every other card game's daily is one franchise deep; this pool is twenty-three anime sharing a card back, so the first thing to work out is which show you are even in. It is a plain right or wrong — there is no such thing as partly Bleach.

The dashed green tile is the strongest clue in the game. Event and Site cards have no BP at all — 558 of them — and 901 cards have no Trigger. So a tile that comes back green with a dash is not saying "no data": it is saying the answer does not have this field either. Name an Event and a dashed BP tile rules out all 2,454 Characters at once — three quarters of the pool from a single guess — while a red BP tile says the answer is a Character and hands you an arrow to chase.

Partial credit is for Affinity, where a card can carry two or three tags and share one of them — Order of the Black Knights / KMF against Order of the Black Knights / Four Holy Swords is a genuine half-hit. Colour goes through the same rule but Union Arena cards are mono-coloured, so in practice it only ever lands right or wrong.

Rarity points up and down the ladder C → U → R → SR → SP, so a miss there still tells you which way to go. Every card in the pool has a rarity printed, so this column is never blank — SP is the rarest thing on it, on eleven cards in the whole game.

Set does not point anywhere, unlike the other -dles you may have played. The card data carries no release date, and inventing an order for the Vol.2 boosters would be making something up. It is a plain match — and once Series is green it is still the column that separates the Vol.1 booster from the Vol.2 booster and the starter deck.

    Art

A slit of the illustration, blown up past the point of recognition. Every guess widens it, down to a floor it never goes past. The floor is not decorative: a Union Arena frame prints the card's name across the top of the art and the series in vertical type down the right-hand edge, and on this game the second one would hand you the answer. The window stays inside 19%–47% of the card's height and 21%–79% of its width, which clears both, along with the cost badges and the rules box.

    Effect

The card's rules text and its trigger, with its own name blanked out. References to other cards are left alone — a text that names <Sukuna> is telling you something real, and so is an affinity in square brackets.

Art and Effect do not show the comparison grid. The clue is the mode; all you get back is a list of what you have ruled out.

    Searching

Type the way you talk about cards. bleach ichigo finds every Ichigo in the Bleach sets without you knowing a card number. jjk gojo works the same way, and so does ue03bt yuji if you would rather name the product. Every word you type has to match something, so adding a word always narrows the list.

Anything the grid grades is searchable, not just names. draw, raid, active and get are triggers; character, event and site card types; purple a colour; an affinity like 104th cadet corps or alo; super rare and special rarities; starter deck the kind of product it came out of. Numbers want their field named: ap1, energy3, bp4000 or bp4k.

Because every word has to land, these stack with each other and with names: raid purple, bleach bp4000, energy0 event, ichigo raid. Cards matching on their name are listed above cards matching only on a field.

    The streak

A day counts only when all three daily modes fall — Classic, Art and Effect. Solving one and walking away does not take the day, which is why the bar at the top names the ones still outstanding. Give up on a mode and that mode simply stays unsolved; you can come back to it until midnight UTC.

The marker beside the energy gauge climbs the tournament ladder as the run grows: Entrant, Challenger, Contender, Finalist, Champion, and Undefeated at twenty days. Miss a day entirely and you are back at the door — though your best run is kept.

    Daily and Endless

Daily is the same card for everyone, from a fixed year-long schedule. It never repeats a card inside a year, never runs the same anime two days running, and keeps the same character name at least six weeks apart. Your progress is saved, so you can close the tab. Endless deals a fresh card whenever you want one and works through the whole pool before it repeats anything — nothing is saved and nothing counts toward your streak.

    Move your streak

Everything is kept in this browser, so a new device or a cleared cache starts you at nothing. Copy the code below and paste it in on the other machine.

The code carries which days you finished, not the number itself — the streak is recounted from those days when it lands, and restoring merges with whatever this browser already has rather than overwriting it.
